For the past four years, my dream has been to open a flower shop. Okay, Let’s be honest, It has been one of my many dreams. But regardless, I firmly believe I will live out each one these dreams in some capacity.
I believe that flowers are more than a novelty. They are an art form. They bring people happiness. Even though they are perishable, there is an eternal beauty about nature, about flowers.
Plenty Mercantile is located downtown Oklahoma City and is locally owned. I met one of the shopkeepers, Alison, who is the owner/Designer of Juniper Designs. I had coffee with her this morning to talk about the potability of helping/learning from her. I left the coffee shop absolutely giddy. I’m an intern! Kind of crazy, but I am beyond excited! I’m literally living my dream and at my starting point. So thankful for this opportunity to learn and be creative.
Friends, I made a 4.0 this semester and I am beyond ecstatic!
